What is Tim doing now? (updated September 15, 2024)
We are in the middle of an extended drought in Ohio. I’m used to Ohio summers that linger into late September, but the extended 80 degree days and dry, brown grass find me waiting for fall. The upside is that we are finding time for parks and playgrounds before the weather turns.
Meanwhile, we are well into the fall semester, which is my favorite time of the year. The campus returns to life, students are excited to learn, and guest speakers and university events fill up my lunchtime hours.
Max is truly coming into language right now, so each evening we spend time reading stacks of picture books from the library. His current favorite: The Mouse Who Carried A House On His Back
